Hamilton R-II School District is partnering with nearby school districts; Braymer C-4, Breckenridge R1, New York R-IV, Cowgill R-VI and Kingston 42 to hire a Parents as Teachers (PAT) Educator.  This position is open November 10, 2025.  Benefits will be offered by Hamilton R-II if a minimum of visits/connections is established monthly to determine full-time status.  Hourly pay is $22.50.  Responsibilities of the PAT Educator include promoting parent-child interaction and development centered parenting and family well-being training through personal visits, group connections, screenings, and resource referrals. Parents as Teachers Certification is preferred but will send the right candidate to training.  Candidates must meet one of the following criteria: (1) Certification in Early Childhood Education or related area, (2) Completion of 2-year degree or certificate program in Early Childhood Education or related area, (3) 60 hours of college credit and 2 years of successful experience in a program working with young children as approved by DESE, (4) five years of successful experience in a program working with young children as approved by DESE.  To apply, please go to www.hamilton.k12.mo.us and click on the Hamilton School District Employment Link.
