The Hamilton R-II School District is seeking a Special Services Director for the 2026-2027 school year.   Hamilton, a community of about 1,800, is located approximately 45 miles east of St. Joseph, Missouri off 36 Highway. The district enrollment is 605 students, PK-12. BASIC REQUIREMENTS Respect for and desire to serve students, experience in implementing special education programs, strong instructional leadership skills, ability to facilitate a positive learning and teaching environment, strong interpersonal and communication skills, understanding of special education laws and 504 laws, Master's Degree in Special Education Administration, Certification in Special Education Administration, a minimum of five years of successful teaching experience in Special Education.
